Accessing MaxiTV via browser
MaxiTV is accessible from any modern web browser, with no app installation or physical set-top box required. This is the ideal solution for watching TV from a computer, a tablet or any other device with a browser.
Logging in
- Open your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Go to tv.hometv.ch
- Log in with your MaxiTV credentials available in your customer portal at my.maxiconnect.ch
- Choose a channel and enjoy!

Features available via browser
- Live TV: all channels included in your subscription
- Catch-up TV: up to 7 days back depending on the channel
- Pause and resume: pause and pick up where you left off
- Programme guide (EPG): view upcoming programmes
Technical requirements
- Internet connection: minimum 5 Mbps for SD, 15 Mbps for HD
- JavaScript enabled in your browser
- No aggressive ad blocker (may interfere with the video player)
Common issues
Video buffering → Check your connection speed with a speed test → Close other tabs and bandwidth-intensive applications
Playback error or black screen → Clear your browser cache → Try with a different browser → Check that your credentials are correct
Degraded quality → The player automatically adjusts to your bandwidth; a slow connection reduces quality
