Install MaxiTV on Android TV
Follow these steps to install the MaxiTV app on your Android TV.
Have your MaxiTV credentials ready — available in your customer portal at my2.maxiconnect.ch.
Installation steps
Step 1 — From your Android TV home screen, open the Google Play Store and sign in with your Google Account.
Step 2 — In the search bar, type hometv 2.0.
Step 3 — Select the HomeTV 2.0 app from the search results and install it.
Step 4 — Once installed, open the app and sign in with your MaxiTV credentials (available at my2.maxiconnect.ch).
Notes on the Android TV remote
A few things to be aware of when using the app:
- Home button: the Home button on the remote takes you to the Android TV home screen, not the app’s home screen. Use the Back button (multiple times if needed) to navigate within the app.
- Programme guide: there is no dedicated Guide button. Press OK twice to access detailed programme information, with navigation options available at the bottom of the screen.
