Overview
Zoiper is a free softphone available on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. It allows you to make and receive calls via your MaxiConnect SIP line from your computer or smartphone.
Zoiper is a third-party application. MaxiConnect does not provide direct support for this app, but can assist with initial configuration.
To register the same number on multiple smartphones simultaneously, we recommend the Bria Mobile app instead.

Windows & macOS
Step 1 — Install Zoiper and at startup choose Continue as a Free user.
Step 2 — In the username field, enter your number followed by the SIP server, without spaces:
021XXXXXXX@sip.phone.maxiconnect.ch
Step 3 — Enter your SIP password.
Step 4 — Zoiper auto-detects the server. Verify that the registrar shown is sip.phone.maxiconnect.ch.
Step 5 — If prompted, enter the authentication username (format XXXXXXXXXX.XXX, provided by MaxiConnect).
Step 6 — Leave the Outbound Proxy field empty — not required with MaxiConnect.
Step 7 — In the advanced SIP options, uncheck the option Open random port above 32000.
Step 8 — Select SIP UDP to test the connection.
Step 9 — The status should display Registered.
iOS
Step 1 — Install Zoiper from the App Store and open the app.
Step 2 — Go to Settings → Accounts → + to add an account.
Step 3 — Choose SIP then Manual configuration.
Step 4 — Under SIP OPTIONS, fill in:

Step 5 — Under ADVANCED SETTINGS, fill in:

Step 6 — Under NETWORK SETTINGS, set transport to UDP.
Step 7 — Save and verify that the status shows Registered.
To correctly receive incoming calls, make sure notification preview is set to Always.
Android
Step 1 — Install Zoiper from the Play Store and open the app.
Step 2 — In the username field, enter your number followed by the SIP server:
021XXXXXXX@sip.phone.maxiconnect.ch
Step 3 — Enter your SIP password.
Step 4 — Fill in the following parameters:

Step 5 — Select SIP UDP to complete the configuration.

If you have access to advanced codec settings:
