Behind MaxiConnect are people. A team based in the canton of Fribourg, passionate about telecommunications and convinced that it is possible to do things differently in this sector.
Our story
MaxiConnect was born from a frustration shared by many: the large Swiss operators often offer expensive services, complex contracts and customer support that leaves much to be desired. We decided to build an alternative.
Our starting point: if we create a telecom operator, what kind of operator would we want to have as customers? The answer has guided every one of our decisions since then.
Our identity
Swiss. Not Swiss in name only, but genuinely Swiss — local team, local infrastructure, decisions made here. When you call MaxiConnect, you speak with someone who knows Switzerland, the local market and your language.
Independent. We are not a subsidiary of a large group. We make our own decisions, without directives from a headquarters abroad.
Honest. Our prices are clearly displayed. Our terms are straightforward. We have no small print hiding the real costs.
What motivates us
Every time a customer tells us they finally understand their bill, that they were able to speak with someone who solved their problem quickly, or that they feel respected by their operator — that is why we do this work.
We are convinced that telecommunications can be simple, transparent and human. MaxiConnect is our way of proving it.
Our team
Our team covers several areas:
- Network engineering: to maintain and develop our infrastructure
- Customer support: available 6 days a week to answer your questions
- Technical and installations: for deployments at business premises
- Business development: to find and support new partners
Everyone is based in Switzerland. No outsourcing, no opaque subcontracting.
What comes next
MaxiConnect is growing. We are continuously developing our offerings, our infrastructure and our coverage. But our growth will not change our core values: freedom, proximity and fairness.
