Preliminary checks
- Is mobile data enabled? → Settings → Cellular Data → Enabled
- Is aeroplane mode disabled?
- Do you have Salt network coverage? → The indicator should show 4G/LTE
- Does your plan include data? → Customer account my.maxiconnect.ch
APN settings for the Salt network
On Android
- Open Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile network → APN
- Create a new profile or verify the following values:

- Settings → General → Cellular → Cellular Data

Troubleshooting steps
Step 1 — Check network selection
On some devices, you may need to force the Salt network:
- Android: Settings → Mobile network → Network operator → Manual selection → Choose Salt
- iPhone: Settings → Cellular Data → Network → Automatic selection enabled (or select Salt manually)
Step 2 — Restart the phone
Restart after any parameter change.
Step 3 — Re-insert the SIM card
- Turn off the phone
- Remove the SIM, wait 10 seconds
- Re-insert it and turn the phone back on
Step 4 — Reset network settings
- Android: Settings → General management → Reset network settings
- iPhone: Settings → General → Reset → Reset network settings
⚠️ Saved Wi-Fi passwords will be erased.
