📱 MaxiConnect mobile data not working on Salt network

Fix MaxiConnect mobile data issues on the Salt network in Switzerland: correct APN settings, network selection, SIM restart and step-by-step troubleshooting for Android and iPhone.

Preliminary checks

  1. Is mobile data enabled? → Settings → Cellular Data → Enabled
  2. Is aeroplane mode disabled?
  3. Do you have Salt network coverage? → The indicator should show 4G/LTE
  4. Does your plan include data? → Customer account my.maxiconnect.ch

APN settings for the Salt network

On Android

  1. Open SettingsNetwork & InternetMobile networkAPN
  2. Create a new profile or verify the following values:

Troubleshooting steps

Step 1 — Check network selection

On some devices, you may need to force the Salt network:

  • Android: Settings → Mobile network → Network operator → Manual selection → Choose Salt
  • iPhone: Settings → Cellular Data → Network → Automatic selection enabled (or select Salt manually)

Step 2 — Restart the phone

Restart after any parameter change.

Step 3 — Re-insert the SIM card

  1. Turn off the phone
  2. Remove the SIM, wait 10 seconds
  3. Re-insert it and turn the phone back on

Step 4 — Reset network settings

  • Android: Settings → General management → Reset network settings
  • iPhone: Settings → General → Reset → Reset network settings

⚠️ Saved Wi-Fi passwords will be erased.
