eSIM

ESIM (Embedded SIM) is the new generation of SIM cards, making physical SIM cards unnecessary. It is installed directly as a chip in the device concerned during the production of smartphones, tablets, laptops or smartwatches.
You can select eSIM during the mobile subscription order process. If you already have a mobile subscription with MaxiConnect, you can order the eSIM via the customer portal. Before ordering, please contact your device manufacturer to find out whether your device is eSIM compatible.

Physical SIM

The physical SIM card is the classic format that has been used for many years to connect your mobile device to the network. It is inserted manually into the smartphone, tablet, laptop or connected watch using a dedicated slot.
You can select the physical SIM card during the mobile subscription ordering process. If you already have a mobile subscription with MaxiConnect, you can order a new physical SIM card (e.g. in the event of loss, theft or format change) via the customer portal. Before ordering, please check which SIM card format (nano, micro or standard) is compatible with your device.
